Not sure if you qualify? Let's find out! READ HERE

STEP 1: Register with MMCC - https://mmcc.maryland.gov
Quick Reference: Register as an Adult Patient (18+ years)
Click link above to see a quick reference PDF provided by MMCC. *IMPORTANT: If you fail to submit all requirements during registration then you must correct and resubmit which incurs additional waiting period. AS OF WRITING, the current approximated time to receive approval is ~45 days, according to the MMCC website. You will need a state issued I.D., a valid email address, last 4 digits of your Social Security #, and of course, $50 for registration fee.

STEP 2: Step 2: Obtain a written certification from a provider registered with the Commission

Registering Patients will be required to visit, in-person, a registered provider in order to obtain a written ceritfication in accordance to Maryland law.
Once registered, patients must obtain a valid written certification from a provider registered with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission. The patient is required by law to have a bona fide provider-patient relationship with the provider and the provider must approve medical cannabis as a treatment option for the patient for a qualifying medical condition. via https://mmcc.maryland.gov/Pages/process_to_obtain.aspx
STEP 3: Await Approval from MMCC
"When both the patient and provider are registered with MMCC, the provider will need the patient’s MMCC-issued Patient ID Number to issue the certification for medical cannabis through the Commission’s secure online application."

Helpful Tips:
• Register for your Patient ID # / MMCC approval, following the steps above to register. Make an appointment with a registered provider to establish a provider-patient relationship - don't wait the 45 or so days for MMCC registration review. Patients can always contact their MMCC registered physician upon notification of approval and many cards are processed same-day.

• Make note of the date you register with MMCC - you can check to see which dates are currently being processed on the MMCC site
